SCPDA has been provided educational support for Visually Impaired Children and for students who were Low Vision. It has been given and its implementation is ongoing till this year and will continue for the next two years. The association giving  basic skill training by delivering  courses such as braille English Writing and Reading, social skill, Health care and self-management skills, basic mobility and on the proper use of assistive devices.

Till now, SCPDA had given education service for total of 65 visually impaired and low vision children. Materials such as white cane, braille paper, slate and stylus have been distributed, medical and transportation costs also supported for more than 150 visually impaired and low vision individuals.  In addition, SCPDA had distributed uniforms for poor, needy and vulnerable children in 5 regular schools for about a total of 250 students.
